This is in regards to the Licensing and Record Act of 2009 which will, in my opinion, be the first of 2 or 3 steps toward confiscation of privately owned firearms.

With guns, it is not about having laws on the books to prosecute individuals. It is about taking guns away from the people so that no one has them in the first place.

One item to note:  When assuming power and creating a fascist state, Hitler was a proponent of strong gun laws because a disarmed populace was much easier to control than an armed one. The kings of old also outlawed weapons of any kind in any region that they conquered to quell the ability of the citizens to up rise against them.

The Founding Fathers of this nation understood all of the above and because of this, they included the second amendment in the Constitution. In fact, they knew that at some point in every society's life span, the need for the population to arise would come about.

To this end they made the right to keep and bear arms against a tyrannical state an absolute right that could not be revoked. They did this because the first thing tyrants and despots do is to remove a population's right to defend themselves. When this is done, the tyrants have no problem with the destruction of society as we know it.

TEXT OF THE FAX WE WILL SEND

Attention Government officials:

I am a United States Citizen and I have voting rights, so it is time you started listening.  Remember, the same people who put you in office can remove you as well.  To this point there is a huge ground swell of resentment against how the government is run. The anger that we are feeling is getting deeper every day. We are mad and we are not going to take it anymore.  So pay attention.

There is a bill currently in congress called H.R. 45.  It supposed purpose is to protect us, but in reality it was designed to take our right to bear arms away from us.  Our right to bear and keep arms is guaranteed to us by the 2^nd Amendment of the constitution.  The Founding Fathers knew that the kings of old outlawed weapons of any kind to quell the ability of the citizens to up rise against them. Because of this, they included the Second Amendment into our Constitution so we would not be left helpless.  H.R. 45 will not make it harder for criminals to own and use guns; it will just make it harder for decent law abiding people to protect themselves.

When you or others in DC are asked to rule on the 2nd amendment (or any other amendment), you need to educate yourselves and read the various writings of the Founding-fathers of the Constitution. By not doing so you and others will fail to understand what the Founders intent was.  By falsely claiming that the constitution is a living, dynamic document and one that can just be changed any way you see fit is a gross misrepresentation of knowledge.

We the People of the USA have read and know our 2nd Amendment rights and you should too.   It is our RIGHT to keep and bear arms, and no one is going to take that right away.   We will not allow you to take away our guns. 

In conclusion, I urge you to vote NO on H.R. 45 or any bill or presidential order that would limit our second amendment rights by taking our guns away or making the guns or ammo so expensive that we can't afford it.
